Collecting Failure Information
If the server fails, you can collect failure information by using the following method.
The failure information is to be collected only at the request of your sales representative.
Important When the system restarts after a failure has occurred, a message may appear
indicating virtual memory shortage. Ignore this message and proceed with starting
the system. Restarting the system at this time may result in an inability to properly
collect information.
7.1
Collecting Failure Information Occurred on Server
Important If you collect system information with the following command, verify that the
partition of target disk has enough free space.
This must be operated as a root user.
When you collect system information in the server, run the following command:
# /opt/ft/sbin/buggrabber.pl
The collected data will be stored in the following created directory.
/home/BugPool/
Tips
If you change the destination to save, add the following option to the above command and
run.
--bugpool=<
relative or absolute path to the destination
