Removing DIMM
Follow the procedure below to remove the DIMM.
Important At least one DIMM is required to operate the server.
1. Shutdown OS.
The system turns off automatically.
2. Disconnect the power cords from the outlets.
3. Remove the CPU/IO module according to
Chapter 2 (5.4.1 Removing CPU/IO Module)

4. Remove three screws (two on the front and one on the rear), and remove the top cover of the CPU/IO
module.
5. Open the cable clamp of air duct.
