If the SIM card is removed, the phone becomes unusable until a valid SIM card is inserted. It is
possible to transfer your SIM card to another compatible phone and resume your network
subscription. The Main LCD screen displays the appropriate messages if no SIM card is
inserted.
Removing a SIM Card

Make sure that the power is Off and remove the battery.
Release the battery lock in the direction of arrow (1). Lift the battery up in the direction of
arrow (2) and remove it to reveal the SIM location.
Carefully slide the SIM card lock to the right. The SIM card is released, allowing you to
remove it from the phone.
Pull the SIM card up and out of the phone in the direction of the arrow (5).
To replace the battery, place the bottom of the battery into position. Lower the battery until it
clicks into place.

Do not bend or scratch
your SIM card.

The SIM card contains
personal data such as
your electronic
phonebook, messages,
and also details of the
network services you
have subscribed to.

The SIM card may pop
out when you release the
SIM card lock. Be careful
not to drop it.
