Currency Converter
The Currency converter function allows you to convert an amount of money in one country’s
currency to another country’s currency.
To access Currency,

Press
MENU
(Main),
8
, and
7
to display the Currency screen.
Converting Currency
*
Highlight the From field (currency source to be exchanged) and press the
Left
or
Right
navigation key to cycle the currency types and display the preferred currency type.
Highlight the To field and press the
Left
or
Right
navigation key to cycle the currency types
and display the preferred currency type.
(To select the currency type from the Library list, highlight and select the From or To field to
display the currency Library list. Highlight and select the preferred currency type and return
to the Currency screen.)
Highlight and select the Exchange field. Input the exchange rate. To input a decimal after a
number, press

(.) Complete the exchange rate entry and press

Highlight and select the Amount field. Input the amount of currency source to be
exchanged. To input a decimal after a number, press

and press

The currency conversion displays in the Result field and the currency settings stored.
Change the currency amount in the Amount field to convert another amount with the same
settings.
The next time that Currency is accessed, the Currency screen will display with these currency
settings.
Resetting Currencies
To reset the currencies to start with the default settings,

At the Currency screen, press
Softkey 2
(Reset).

The USD Dollar is the
default currency for the
From field. The EUR Euro
is the default currency for
the To field.
O
The UD currency
represents user defined.
The UD name cannot be
changed or renamed.
O
Up to 10 digits, including
the decimal, may be
entered In the Exchange
rate and Amount fields.
O
The result show “Error”
when the From and To
fields are the same or
when the Exchange rate,
Amount, or the Result
contains more than 10
digits.
