CAUTION: The Diagnostic
Partition must be installed before
installing UNIX. It is normally
installed at the factory. You
cannot install the Diagnostic
Partition after installing UNIX
without having to delete your
UNIX partition first.
Read Installing NCR UNIX SVR4
MP-RAS; Chapter 1, “Before You
Begin” to determine the type of
full installation that you want to
perform.

Select “Reboot Now” and Enter.
Use the procedures in the
appropriate chapter of
Installing
NCR UNIX SVR4 MP-RAS to
install the operating system.
14 Follow the screen prompts to
complete the installation. When
prompted to insert media,
coordinate with the local operator
to accomplish this.

Install the suserrpt package as
described in the section “Install
suserrpt Package.” When
prompted to insert media,
coordinate with local operator to
accomplish this.
