Advanced Settings
Description
The
Settings
menu is used to control several features of the
Model 8718B that need to be accessed infrequently. The
options available under the
Settings
menu are:
•
Check or set the meter’s internal clock (time/date).
•
Enter a value for temperature. This feature is used
only
when the probe is separated from the meter and
operating at a different ambient temperature.
•
Clear the memory of logged data.
•
Set the function keys for right or left handed operation.
•
Adjust the contrast of the display.
Accessing the Settings Menu
To access the Settings menu...
1. Access the menu system by pressing the function key
that corresponds to the legend below
MENU
on the
bottom line of the display.
2. Press

(
NEXT
) to select the
Second Menu Screen
.
3. Press
2
to select
SETTINGS
. A new screen will appear
that offers five choices.
