Control panel has a built-in thermostat for automatic operation of your furnace. Start up sections below ex-
plains in detail how the furnace is operated.

6.6 FIRST FIRE (START UP) - CORN BURNING
Assuming you have completed the installation of the furnace, connection of hot air outlet & return air to duct
system, you can now put your furnace into operation.
Please follow the instructions below, step by step.
1. Before you fi ll the hopper with corn, fi rst put about half a bag (about 20 lbs) of pellets at the bottom of the
hopper fi rst. Total volumetric capacity of hopper is about 8 bushels. The reason is furnace and fi re pot are
cold during the fi rst fi re. It is always better to warm up the furnace and fi re pot with pellet. If corn starts
dropping into fi re pot after furnace is considerably hot, you will defi nitely have better combustion of corn.
2. Please keep in mind that auger is empty on the very fi rst operation. Use manual fuel feed button on the
back of the control box to fi ll the auger faster.

DO NOT STORE FUEL WITHIN THE CLEARANCE TO COMBUSTIBLES, OR IN THE SPACE REQUIRED FOR
RE-FUELING AND ASH REMOVAL.
