To replace the battery, follow these steps: 

 

1. Remove the Power Supply cover screws (located on the sides 
of the PSU-2 Power Supply). 
 

2. 

Carefully unplug the Power Supply from the Display Module. 

 

3. 

Turn the Power Supply over to access the Backup Battery 

compartment. 
 

 

4. 

Use caution not to damage other components in the Power 

Supply compartment while removing and replacing the Backup 
Battery. Suggested replacements for the Backup Battery: 6 VDC, 
1300 mAh, Duracell

® 

DL223A or Sanyo

® 

CRP2 lithium battery, 

available from Murphy (p/n 00005125). 

 

 

5. 

Plug the Power Supply back onto the Display Module and 

secure the two mounting screws.

ower up the system and resume normal operations.
