NOTE
• Items marked with the
symbol indicates that the paper is inserted vertically as seen from the front of the machine.
• Paper that has already been printed on can be the cause of poor print quality, paper jams, and other malfunctions.
• Use OHP film that is designed for use in plain-paper copiers. You cannot use the OHP film with tapes or a back cover attached.
• When printing on postcards, the type of postcard and ambient temperature may cause poor print quality.
Unacceptable paper
Do not use the following paper. Using such paper could cause poor printing quality, paper jams, or malfunction.
• OHP film that has already been through the machine once (even OHP film that has been output blank cannot be reused)
• Paper printed on a thermal printer or an inkjet printer
• Paper that is too thick or too thin
• Paper that is creased, folded, wrinkled, or torn
• Paper that has been taken out from the package for a long period of time
• Paper that has absorbed moisture
• Paper that has holes punched for use in ring binders or perforated paper
• Paper of which surfaces are too smooth, too rough, or not uniform
• Paper of which surfaces are processed, such as carbon paper, thermal paper, or pressure sensitive paper
• Paper subject to processing such as gilding or embossing
• Paper of different sizes mixed together
• Irregularly shaped paper (paper that is not rectangular)
• Paper that is fastened by glue, staples, paper clips, etc.
• Paper with stamps, tapes, stickers or glue labels attached
• Paper with ribbons, hooks, or buttons attached
• Paper that is curled or waved
• Art paper, coated paper, coated paper for inkjet printers
