Control Panel
This section shows the names of the parts of the control panel and their functions.
In this manual, buttons appearing on the LCD are shown between [ ], and control panel buttons are shown
between < >.

1. Alarm lamp
Lights when an error occurs.
2. LCD
Shows messages and screens for making settings.
3. Memory Receive lamp
Lights when a document is stored in the memory.
4. Communication lamp
Lights when sending or receiving faxes and when receiving print data.
5. <Menu>
Press to make and register settings.
6. Soft Key
Use as a shortcut for functions you use frequently.
You can also register other settings that you frequently use to be accessed with the soft key.

The following functions registered at the time of shipment.
<Speed Dial>
Press to recall a registered address by entering a speed dial number.
<Monitor>
Press this to run the manual transmission.
<List>
Press this to output a list.
7. <Interrupt>
You can interrupt the current copy job to copy other documents.
“InterruptCopyReady” appears on the display when this function is on. This function is disabled when you
press <Interrupt> and the copying of the previous document resumes.
8. <Job Confirm./Fax Cancel>
Press to cancel a fax transmission or to see fax transmission history.
