Installing TCP/IP (WinNT)
If TCP/IP is not already installed, perform the following steps:
Note: For this procedure you may need your Windows NT installation CD ROM.
1.
While the Network dialog box is open, click Add.
2.
The Select Network Protocol dialog box is displayed with a list of available protocol options.
Highlight TCP/IP Protocol and click OK.
If necessary (i.e., the operating system does not find the necessary files on the hard drive), click
the Have Disk button, then follow the instructions provided on-screen.
3.
You are returned to the Network dialog.
4.
Reboot your PC for changes to take effect.
5.
Open the Control Panel and double-click the Network icon to return to the Network Configuration
window, then go to step 4 of the Configuring Windows NT procedure.
