DANGER
Rotating and moving engine parts.
Risk of crushing, danger of parts of the body being caught or pulled in!
• Only run the engine at low power. Keep away from the engine's danger zone.
WARNING
High level of engine noise when the engine is running.
Risk of damage to hearing!
• Wear ear protectors.
Checking charge-air coolant
pump pressure relief port

Check pressure relief port (arrow) for oil
and coolant discharge.
Note:
Observe safety regulations when carrying
out maintenance and repair work
(→ Page 14).
2.
Shut down engine (→ Page 37) and disable
engine start.
3.
Clean the pressure relief port with a wire if
it is dirty.
• Permissible coolant discharge: up to
10 drops per hour
• Permissible oil discharge: up to 5 drops
per hour

If discharge is greater, contact Service.
