Checking engine oil level after engine has stopped

1.

5 minutes after stopping the engine, remove oil dipstick from the guide tube and wipe it.

2.

Insert dipstick into guide tube up to the stop, pull out after approx. 10 seconds. Check oil level on oil dipstick
side marked “5 Min. after Stop“ or “Stop”.

3.

Oil level must be between “min.” and “max.“ marks.

4.

If necessary, top up to “max.“ mark (→ Page 204).

5.

Insert oil dipstick into guide tube up to stop.
