Cause
Corrective action
The internal electronics of the
servomotor of the bypass flap
(M52) signals that temperature is
too high.
1. Check for high temperatures in the vicinity of the servomotor, e.g.
resulting from faulty insulation, defective seals, signs of sooting
(→ Page 192).
2. Check coolant connections of servomotor for leaks and blockages
3. Contact Service.
1434 – AL Act Dispenser Temperature Alert

Corrective action
The internal electronics of the
servomotor of the dispenser flap
(M55) signals that temperature is
too high.
1. Check for high temperatures in the vicinity of the servomotor, e.g.
resulting from faulty insulation, defective seals, signs of sooting
(→ Page 192).
2. Check coolant connections of servomotor for leaks and blockages
3. Contact Service.
1436 – AL Act Agr A Voltage Supply
Cause
Corrective action
The servomotor supply voltage for
the EGR shutoff flap (M53) is
below 9V or above 32V. The
servomotor assumes a safe
position.
1. Check state of charge of batteries (plant side).
2. Check plug connectors for engine governor (→ Page 256).
3. Contact Service.

The ECU is no longer able to
detect the EGR shutoff flap (M53)
on the CAN bus.
