• Do not smoke.
• Wear protective clothing, protective gloves, and safety glasses / facial protection.
Preparatory steps
1.
Close fuel supply line upstream of fuel filter.
2.
Remove engine control system (→ Page 149).
3.
Drain fuel (→ Page 87).
4.
Remove charge-air pipes and all seals.
