7.16.1 Raw water pump – Relief bore check
DANGER
Rotating and moving engine parts.
Risk of crushing, danger of parts of the body being caught or pulled in!
• Only run the engine at low power. Keep away from the engine's danger zone.
WARNING
High level of engine noise when the engine is running.
Risk of damage to hearing!
• Wear ear protectors.
Raw water pump – Relief bore
check
1.
Check relief bore (1) for oil and coolant dis-
charge.
Result:
No fluid should emerge.
2.
If clogged:
• Stop engine (→ Page 58) and disable en-
gine start.
• Clean the relief bore with a wire.
3.
Contact Service if fluid emerges.
