The GM2 multiplexer module is a TDM that performs the following two primary functions:
1. Multiplexing data on
two
Gigabit Ethernet channels into one 2.5 Gbps data stream to flow
in one direction.
2. Demultiplexing a multiplexed 2.5 Gbps data stream coming in the opposite direction into

two Gigabit Ethernet channels.
