18. Check List for Acceptance after Installation
This check list is intended for the use of the pilot. Please check following items
to ensure that MT-VisionAir X ETSO has been correctly installed.
18.1 General installation check
Check point Correct?
The unit can be easily inserted into / removed from the Easy
mount?
The power supply takes place via the Ground Clearance Switch /
Hot Bus / Battery Bus?
The GPS positions correctly (SATFIX)?
The correct GPS source is selected?
The GPS signal is not shielded by a heated windshield?
18.2 Check Moving Terrain with satellite telephone
18.2.1 Check satellite telephone antenna
Check point Correct?
The distance between GPS antenna and satellite telephone an-
tenna is at least 1.3 m?
The Sat Tel antenna has optimal view (about 180°) to the sky?
The position of the satellite telephone antenna is suitable for recep-
tion?
Is it neither installed vertically nor installed vice versa?
Please inform yourself in detail about the installation!

Ground plane installed?

The satellite telephone is supplied/loaded by on board power?
The satellite telephone is connected correctly with MT?
