6.14.1.1
Work steps
1.
Strip off 5-10 cm of outer isolation of both Sensor cables.
2.
Loosen the cable gland and bring the cable through
3.
Connect the inner wire color coded (yellow, green, brown, white) and the shield
with cable glands
4.
Fit the connection into the Junction box
5.
Close the Junction and make sure the sealing seated proper and screw together
Fix the Sensor together with junction box and sensor cable at the module rail and the
control unit. One sensor at the south rafter, one sensor at the north rafter. As shown in the
following figure.
The shielding should be fixed outside of the junction box at the module rail using earth
clamps 4 mm.
6.14.2
Tilt sensors calibration
The tilt sensors must be adjusted to the horizontal position of the rafter. This enables
differences to be compensated for.
Incorrectly adjusted angle sensors mean that the mechanical limits cannot be
monitored by the control. This can cause a malfunction and damage to the
system. The method described here is only valid for pre-configured tilt sensors
with an angular range of ±50°.
