The following points must be observed by the operator to ensure safe operation of the
system:
•
The tracking system may only be supplied through a TN-S network system.
•
Only PV modules of protection class II or IEC application class A may be installed.
•
Only dual-insulation DC cables approved for photovoltaics (protection class II) may
be used.
•
The DC cabling must only be secured to the module carrier rails.
•
The DC cabling must be installed so that it is resistant to grounding faults and short-
circuits. Anticipated external influences such as wind, ice formation, temperatures
and sunlight must be taken into account. Cables and wiring must be selected and
installed in accordance with the environmental conditions. Particular attention must
be paid to the mechanical protection and UV resistance of the cables and wiring.
•
The operator must provide string monitoring through the inverters.
