Chain drive

Remove the anti-corrosion coating on the gear shaft (2) with white spirit or solvent, or if
present, pull off the protective skin.
Apply sliding paste to the shaft against corrosion (2)
Turn the chain until the keyway of the gear shaft (2) and the groove of the pinion on the
chain drive (1) are aligned.
Place the chain drive (1) flush to the gear shaft (2) and rotate the threaded bolt M12 on the
fitting tool (3) to the stop in the gear shaft (2).
Pull the chain drive (1) onto the gear shaft (2) by turning the hexagonal nut M12 on the
fitting tool (3) and then remove the fitting tool (3).
