The Gateway File
The gateway file describes the gateways to other networks in the headend and is used by the
OM 1000 during initialization.
Figure C-5 provides an example of a gateway file:

The Operate Directory
The Operate Directory contains the basic set of files required for normal OM 1000 operation. Its
files and their purpose are listed below. An asterisk following the file name indicates a file that
may require modification for use in a particular site. All other files should
not
be altered.
Figure C-6 provides an example of an operate.txt file:

Operate Directory
