To change the backlight timeout
The default setting for the backlight is 30 seconds but you can reduce this to 15 seconds if you
would prefer.
1. Press the LSK ‘Menu’
2. Use the
and
keys until ‘Settings’ is displayed
3. Press the LSK ‘Select’.
4. Press the
key to highlight ‘Handset Setup’ and press the LSK ‘Select’
5. Check that ‘Display Setup’ is highlighted and press the LSK ‘Select’
6. Check that ‘Backlight’ is highlighted and press the LSK ‘Select’
7. Use the
and
keys to change the Backlight timeout.
8. Press the LSK ‘OK’ to confirm.
9. Press the
key to return to standby.
To change the time format
You can set the time to display in either 12 or 24 hour clock (except for the Alarm Clock function
which always uses 24 hour)
1. Press the LSK ‘Menu’
2. Use the

keys until ‘Settings’ is displayed
3. Press the LSK ‘Select’.
4. Press the
key to highlight ‘Handset Setup’ and press the LSK ‘Select’
5. Use the
key to highlight ‘Date/Time’ and press the LSK ‘Select’
6. Check that ‘Time Format’ is highlighted and press the LSK ‘Select’
7. Use the
and
keys to highlight either 12 or 24 hour.
8. Press the LSK ‘OK’ to confirm.
9. Press the
key to return to standby.
