Select Back Pressure
Back Pressure is the pressure that is sent by the Electronic Pressure Regulator to the bottom of a weld
head’s air cylinder when a schedule is not operating.
NOTE:
The psi setting for this parameter will only be accurate if the electronic pressure regulator has
the association of 0-10 VDC = 0-100 psi.

Calibration
Calibration is a simple 2-step procedure using controls on the Program Unit that adjusts the ISA
electronic display so the actual force of the electrodes measured by the Force Gauge matches the
force displayed on the LCD. One
LOW
-force and one
HIGH
-force measurement are used for
calibration. If you are unable to match these measurements, return the Control to Miyachi Unitek for
factory calibration.
Before
you start Calibration, check the force gauge to be used between the electrodes to see what force
units it measures. The
FORCE UNITS
on the Power Supply
must
match those on the Force Gauge (
lb
=
lb,
kgf
= kgf,
N
=Newton.) or calibration will
not
be accurate.
