To unfasten

CAUTION

l

As the belt retracts automatically, keep hold-
ing the latch plate while retracting so that the
belt  stows  slowly.  Failure  to  do  this  could
damage the vehicle.

1. Hold  the  latch  plate  (A)  and  push  the

button on the buckle (D).

2. To release the buckle (C), press the but-

ton (F) with the latch plate (A).

3. Retract the seat belt and remove it from

the seat belt guide (E).

4. After the seat belt is retracted complete-

ly,  insert  the  small  latch  plate  (B)  into
the upper slit (G) and the latch plate (A)
into the lower slit (H).

Rear seat belt storage

When  the  seat  belt  is  not  in  use,  store  it  as
shown in the illustration.
