The mirrors automatically retract or extend
when the doors are locked or unlocked using
the key of the keyless entry system.

The mirrors automatically retract or extend
when the doors are locked or unlocked using
the keyless entry system or the keyless opera-
tion function.
Refer to “Keyless entry system: Operation of
the outside rear-view mirrors” on page 3-05
or “Keyless operation system: To operate us-
ing the keyless operation function” on page
3-11.

On vehicles equipped with the Smartphone
Link Display Audio and MITSUBISHI Mul-
ti-Communication System (MMCS), screen
operations can be used to make the adjust-
ment. Refer to the separate owner’s manual
for details.
NOTE
• Automatically extend when the ignition
switch is turned to the “ON” position or
the operation mode is put in ON, and au-
tomatically retract when the driver’s door
is opened after the ignition switch is
turned to the “LOCK” or “ACC” position
or the operation mode in put in OFF or
ACC.
• Automatically extend when the vehicle
speed reaches 30 km/h (20 mph).
• Deactivate the automatic extension func-
tion.
The outside rear-view mirrors can be re-
tracted or extended by the following oper-
ations, even if changing to any of the
above.
After pressing the LOCK switch on the
key to lock the doors and tailgate, if the
LOCK switch is pressed again twice in a
row within approximately 30 seconds, the
outside rear-view mirrors will retract.
After pressing the UNLOCK switch on
the key to unlock the doors and tailgate, if
the UNLOCK switch is pressed again
twice in a row within approximately 30
seconds, the outside rear-view mirrors
will extend again.
Heated mirror
To demist or defrost the outside rear-view
mirrors, press the rear window demister
switch.
The indication lamp (A) will illuminate while
the demister is on.
The heater will be turned off automatically in
approximately 15 to 20 minutes depending
on the outside temperature.
NOTE
l
The heater mirrors can be turned on auto-
matically.
