To extend
Unlocking the doors and tailgate using the
UNLOCK switch (2), the outside rear-view
mirrors are extended automatically.

Authorized Service Point.
In a vehicle equipped with the Smartphone
Link Display Audio or the MITSUBISHI
Multi-Communication System (MMCS), it
is possible to change the setting by means of
screen operations.
Refer to the separate owner’s manual for de-
tails.
• Automatically extend when the driver’s
door is closed and the ignition switch is
turned to the “ON” position or the opera-
tion mode is put in ON.
In addition, automatically retract when the
ignition switch is turned to the “LOCK”
or “ACC” position or the operation mode
is put in OFF or ACC, and the driver’s
door is then opened.
• Automatically extend when the vehicle
speed reaches 30 km/h (16 mph).
NOTE
• Deactivate the automatic extension func-
tion.
The outside rear-view mirrors can be re-
tracted or extended by the following oper-
ations, even if changing to any of the
above. After pressing the LOCK switch to
lock the doors and tailgate, if the LOCK
switch is pressed again twice in a row
within approximately 30 seconds, the out-
side rear-view mirrors will retract.
After pressing the UNLOCK switch to
unlock the doors and tailgate, if the UN-
LOCK switch is pressed again twice in a
row within approximately 30 seconds, the
outside rear-view mirrors will extend
again.
Setting of door and tailgate un-
lock function (except for vehi-
cles equipped with a Dead
Lock System)
The door and tailgate unlock function can be
set to the following two conditions.
Each time the door and tailgate unlock func-
tion is set, a chime will sound to tell you the
condition of the door and tailgate unlock
function.

When the UNLOCK switch

time, only the driver’s door
unlocks. When the UN-
LOCK switch or the driver’s
door lock/unlock switch is
pressed two times in succes-
sion, all doors and the tail-
gate unlock.
1. Turn the ignition switch to the “LOCK”
position and then remove the key (ex-
cept for vehicles equipped with the key-
less operation system), or put the opera-
tion mode in OFF (vehicles equipped
with the keyless operation system).
2. Place the lamp switch in the “AUTO”
position, and leave the driver’s door
open.
3. Press the LOCK switch (1) for 4 to 10
seconds and press the UNLOCK switch
(2) during this time.
