COPIES
Specifies the number of copies that you want to print.
PAPER SIZE
Specifies the paper size that you want to use for printing.
PAPER SOURCE
Specifies the tray or source of paper that will be used for printing.
For detailed information about the automatic tray setting (see page
3-48).
ORIENTATION
Selects the direction of print on the page. Portrait orientation means
the page is taller than it is wide when you view the printed text
upright.
Landscape orientation means that the page is wider than it is tall
when you view the printed text upright.
DUPLEX
Allows you to print two pages at one time using the front and back
of a sheet of paper. The two-sided document can be printed with a
binding along the short or long edge of the sheet (see page 3-46).
FINE-ART
Smoothes the jagged edges of the printed image.
The default for
FINE-ART
(ON) should be ideal for most general
purposes of the printer. However, the OFF setting is recommended
when printing photographs and similar images.
TONER SAVE
Allows you to conserve toner during printing.
Note
• The settings you make in the Print menu and the PCL menu may be
overridden by the settings you make in your printer driver.
