• If the next sequentially numbered bin already contains paper, that
bin is skipped and output continues with the next available bin fol-
lowing it.
• Bin 1 (Default Bin) cannot be used for job separation. However,
when all bins being used for job separation become full, the mes-
sage “Separate Bin Full” appears on the LCD display and output
switches to Bin 1.
Stacker
• This mode is best used for large-volume print jobs. Pages are out-
put sequentially into bins that are not being used as mail boxes.
The sequence of the 10-bin mail-bin is from the highest numbered
bin to the lowest (from bottom to top). The sequence for the 5-bin
mail-bin is from the highest numbered bin to the lowest (from top
to bottom). The next bin is switched to when the current bin
becomes full, with no separation of specific jobs or sets.
• Bin 1 (Default Bin) cannot be used for stacking. However, when
all bins being used for stacking become full, the message “Stack
Bin Full” appears on the LCD display and output switches to Bin
1.
Shift (5-bin mail bin only)
• As its name suggests, this mode shifts Bin 1 of the 5-bin mail-bin
sideways before the start of each job or copy of a job. This pro-
duces a staggered stack with jobs and copies neatly separated.
Note that this feature is available with Bin 1 only.
