Clearing Media Jams

Media Jams near the OPC Drum 

1

If there is any media in the multipurpose 
tray, remove it and close the multipurpose 
tray.

2

Press the right-side cover release button 
and carefully open the cover all the way.

3

Remove the jammed 
media by pulling it slowly 
from the bottom of the 
fuser.

Attention

Do not pull jammed media from the 
top of the printer through the fusing 
rollers.

This prevents any unfused toner 
from dirtying the fuser rollers.
