Make sure that the machine is switched off from the power line.
Stop the machine for carrying out adjustments or to demount any machine member turn the
main selector to 0, indicate so with a sign and lock the main switch.
Periodically remove chips and dust from the machine inside
By using a wiping cloth drunken with not dangereous solvent remove resin incrustations on the
sliding bar of the tenoning table.
NOTE: the general cleaning ensures the long life and the best performance of the machine and is an
important safety factor

As all bearings of the machine are lubricated for life they do not need any lubrication.
Periodically clean the spindle sliding cylinder with a jet of compressed air.
Fill the proper Stauffer lubricator arranged on the fixed cylinder with grease, move the spindle up
and down more times.
Clean the control screw for spindle lifting with a jet of compressed air then lubricate it with fluid oil.
The top bearings of the spindle are special.
To request the bearings apply to SCM Spare Parts Department (Ufficio Ricambi).
Bearings of other makes with corresponding names are NOT suitable.
