Loosen handles (L and H fig.7.14) and move the entire hood-fence to the position required for the
removal depth: fence halves (M) and (P) shall be aligned with the minimal diameter of the cutter, then
tighten the handles.
Both fence halves shall be as near the tool as possible: adjust by means of the 2 knobs (F fig.7.15)
behind the fence halves.
Micrometric adjustment of the removal depth: adjust fence half (P) as follows:

Hold handle (L fig.7.14) clamped

Loosen handle (H fig.7.14)

Turn knob (R fig.7.15) to find the right position: read out the measure on rule (T fig.7.15)

Tighten handle (H fig.7.14)
Micrometric adjustment of fence half (M):

Hold handle (H fig.7.14) clamped

Loosen handle (L fig.7.14)

Turn knob (R fig.7.15) and with a small rod check the alignement of the fence half with the cutter.

Tighten handle (L fig.7.14).

After any adjusting always close the top cover of the hood - fence unit.
