Procedure

Procedure of the ground resistance test:
1. Connect the device to be test and the analyzer according to the connection diagram.
2. Press

on the panel.

3. Connect one end of the test lead to the

jack and the other end of the test

lead to the

(zero) jack.

4. Press the function key

Zero Leads

. The analyzer resets the measured value to zero to

offset the resistance of the test lead.

5. Remove the test lead from the terminal

and connect it to the ground point

of the protective ground column of the device or the metal shell part of the device.

Read the ground resistance.

6. After the device is connected, the measured resistance will be displayed.
7. Record the largest reading.

The ground resistance should not exceed 300 mOhms.
