If the monitor is connected to a PC for upgrade, a cross network cable is
recommended.
NOTE

After upgrading the BIOS program, the system program and other
programs need to be upgraded to ensure their compatibility.

Before upgrade, make sure the version of the upgrade package is the
required one. To obtain the latest upgrade package, contact Mindray
Customer Service Department.
8.3 Software Function Upgrade
Some software functions of this monitor are controlled through license. You can choose
these software functions when purchasing the monitor, or contact Mindray engineers to
activate these software functions after receiving the monitor.
8.3.1 Overview
The upgrade items of functions available to you vary with the configuration of the
monitor you buy and your local regulations. This manual lists all software function
upgrade items. However, some of them may not apply to your monitor.

8.3.2 Preparations for Software Function Upgrade

8.3.3 Software Function Upgrade
After receiving a license from Mindray, import this license file into the monitor to
complete upgrade. To import the license file, do as follows:
1. Unzip the
PMLS.ZIP file to obtain the PMLS folder.
2. Copy the PMLS folder to the root directory of the USB drive.
3. Insert the USB drive into the USB port of the monitor.
