Chapter 3 Setup
Setting Interval wiping
When the set time has passed, nozzle face of the head is
cleaned automatically to remove ink droplets on the
nozzle face.
In case that deflection, nozzle missing, or symptom which
ink droplets fall down occurred, set the interval between
each operation shorter.

Used to set external heater to ON/OFF.

Setting for Improving Image Quality by
Changing Media-feeding Rate (BELT COMP.)
Setting the BELT COMP. to ON allows for improved print
quality.
Set belt comp. to ON at times when you are concerned
about unevenness during printing or seam joint of the belt.

Setting Belt Wash
Using the belt wash feature makes it possible to remove
ink stains which go through the media and appear on the
feeding belt.

• When you change setting of the belt correction,
set the feeding correction. (
• The belt wash function only activates during
feeding belt operation.
• The best wash function will not operate, even
when set to ON, if the feeding belt is not in
operation.
• Because the absorb roller may be deformed, when
setting in “OFF”, make sure to remove it in
advance. (
