Mount the fabric roller with the fabric
wrapped.
• Attach the fabric roller in the slot below the
bracket.
• Fit the shaft holder into the slot on both sides of
the fabric roller.
Adjust the bearing position on both ends of the
fabric roller.
Loosen the screw of the bearing so that the fabric
roller contacts the peeling roller.

Turn the peeling roller manually, and check
it turns smoothly.
• If the peeling roller does not turn smoothly, check
the mounted position of the fabric roller.
Using the tension bar to set the roll
media
The route for setting the fabric media is as shown in the
following diagram.
Prior to setting the media, if you understand the routing of
the media, you can perform the setting of the media
smoothly.

Close the front cover, and press the
(MEDIA) key.
• The screen for “FEEDING TENSION-BAR” is
displayed.

Select how to use tension bar according to
the media seting method.
• In this case, select “ON”.
(DC= direct-connection unit, TL= torque limiter
- - = unit OFF)
• Press [

][

] to select “ON” and press the
[ENTER] key.

• Check to make sure that the area that comes into
contact with the media route is not stained.
• Before setting media by using tension bar, check
that direct-connection unit is attached to feeding
device. If torque limiter is attached, replace it with
direct-connection unit by referring to P.2-12.
• This page is not indicated when the pre-setting of
“FEEDING UNIT” is “OFF”.
