Problem
Possible cause and remedy
During a cooking
process with an M Chef
function, the cooling fan
is running with very
high rpm.
The Dialog oven can get much hotter when using
M Chef functions than it does with conventional
functions. The speed will reduce automatically at the
end of the cooking process.
If it happens too frequently, check that the
appliance is correctly installed (see “Building-in
dimensions” and “Installation”).
With very small amounts of food in the oven (e.g.
baking 2 rolls) the dialog oven will heat up more than
it would with larger amounts of food.
It is better to cook larger amounts of food.
A noise can be heard
after a cooking process.
The cooling fan remains switched on after a cooking
programme (see “Settings – Cooling fan run-on”).
The Dialog oven has
switched itself off.
The Dialog oven will switch itself off automatically to
save energy if no other action is taken within a certain
time frame after switching it on or after the end of a
cooking programme.
Switch the Dialog oven back on again.
The food is unevenly
cooked.
If food has browned too much in certain places, the
temperature selected was too high.
Select a lower temperature.
If there are hard bits or dry areas on the food, the
intensity was set too high.
Set a lower intensity level or set fewer Gourmet
Units.
Cakes and biscuits are
not baked properly after
following the durations
given in the recipe.
A different temperature from the one given in the
recipe has been used.
Select the temperature required for the recipe.
The ingredient quantities used are different from those
given in the recipe.
Check whether you have amended the recipe. The
addition of more liquid or more eggs makes a
moister mix which would take longer to cook.
