In addition to setting the sensor parameters via the web site or using the API commands, the Ethernet inter-
face also allows rapid data transfer, which is not real-time-compatible (packaged-based data transfer). The
color values for measured value capture are transferred for one subsequent analysis without direct process
control.
When using a static IP address it is necessary to enter the values for the IP address, Gateway and Subnet
mask; this is not required when DHCP is used.
The changed IP settings are active immediately and it may be necessary to enter a new IP address in the
browser to access the web interface again.
The controller is set at the factory to the fixed IP address 169.254.168.150.
The controller transfers the TCP/IP or UDP/IP packages at the Ethernet transfer rate of 10 MBit/s or 100
MBit/s, which is set automatically depending on the network or PC connected.
All output values and additional information to be transferred, saved at a certain time, are consolidated to a
measured value frame. Example, see Chap.
