The evaluation boards support full-duplex mode. All of the Ethernet features can be managed via
the PCI bus platform. The evaluation board can be configured to a different model by using the
different devices. They are listed as below:

The board can be configured as a single port managed MAC-PHY controller by using the
KSZ8841-PMQL device.
•
The board can be configured as a two port managed switch or repeater by using the
KSZ8842-PMQL device.
The KSZ88XX-PMQL-Eval board is easy to be evaluated. There are programmable LED
indicators for link and activity on all ports and a power LED. The evaluation board includes Linux,
VxWorks, Windows and WinCE drivers to support this hardware.
