TROUBLESHOOTING
9.1.
General
9.1.1.
First think, then act
If you notice signs of a defect, try to remember what you did the last time you noticed these signs.
If your former action led to success, proceed in the same way. If you encounter a symptom for the
first time, consider what could possibly be the cause; in doing so, observe the troubleshooting
procedure below.
9.1.2.
Dust and dirt
Wear is usually caused by abrasive dirt particles. If you remove a part or a component or
disassemble it, make sure that no dust or dirt can enter.
9.1.3.
Use original spare parts
Use only original parts to replace damaged or worn components. To order the necessary spare
parts, please contact your authorised dealer.
9.1.4.
Act with caution
Use suitable tools for every operation during the repair. By selecting the right tool, you prevent
injury and damage to property. To lift or to carry a part that is too heavy for one person, call one
more person to help or use suitable lifting gear.
