947 Professional UV/VIS Detector Vario (2.947.00x0)

NOTICE

To operate the instrument without a UV lamp, insert the socket cap for
the UV lamp into the opening for the UV lamp

 until it stops.

Align the groove and the circular opening of the socket cap with the
positioning pins in the lamp cooling element.

Tighten the adjustment ring

 by hand until the socket cap is firmly

fixed in the lamp module.

NOTICE

If the 947 Professional UV/VIS Detector Vario is operated with the UV
lamp and the VIS lamp, adjust the UV lamp after start-up 

(see chapter

4.1, page 30)

Remove the UV lamp 

(see chapter 6.4.2, page 48)

 and insert the

socket cap if the UV lamp is not used for a longer period.
