947 Professional UV/VIS Detector Vario (2.947.00x0)

Slide the pressure screw over the detector outlet capillary such that a
small part of the capillary is visible at the top.

Tighten the capillary in the detector outlet using the pressure screw.

NOTICE

The detector outlet capillary (6.1831.100) is 1 m long and may not
be shortened.

Installing the lamps

CAUTION

Damage to the lamp

Reduced light transmission due to residues on the lamp surface. Dam-
age to the lamp due to burnt-on residues on the lamp surface.

Do not touch the lamp surface with your fingers!

If the lamp surface is contaminated, clean the lamp with alcohol and
a lint-free cloth.

￭

Make sure the lamp surface is dry before using the instrument.
