The outer seal is attached to the retaining
screw. When removing the flow-through
cell, the outer seal does not have to be
removed from the retaining screw.

Loosen the retaining screw

and remove it.

The outer seal is attached to the inside of the regaining screw

Remove the outer seal.

Carefully remove the lens

 and the inner seal 

(39-

 from the

measuring cell.

Put the lens onto a white paper. This allows you to see possible
deposits. There are deposits that only absorb in the UV range. These
deposits are not visible.

 

3 Cleaning the lens

Clean the lens with ultrapure water, methanol or another suitable
solvent (depending on the application) and wipe with a lint-free
cloth.
