7.2.4. 1-year service kit

According to the Deutsches Institut für Bautechnik (German Institute for Construction Technology), the display units of amalgam
separators must be checked for function at least once a year by an expert!
METASYS makes it mandatory to carry out the 1-year inspection.
The 1-year inspection must be entered in the device document!

Check LED 1 (“Ready for operation”)
Switch the main switch off and on again

LED 1 lights up green:
Centrifuge starts up twice briefly and stops abruptly.

Check LED 2 (“Centrifuge malfunction”)
Switch off the main switch

Take out module 2
Unplug centrifuge connector SV2 on the main board (1)
On the main board, short-circuit slot SV2 (2)
With slot SV2 short-circuited, switch on main switch
LED 2 flashes red:
With module 2 inserted, suction is now not possible
Switch off the main switch
Plug in centrifuge connector SV2 on the main board
Reinsert module 2
