lane markings are displayed in green.
The guide lines show the distances to your
vehicle. The distances only apply to road
level.

System failure
If the rear view camera is not operational, the
following message appears in the media display:
System limits
The rear view camera will not function or will
only partially function in the following situations:

The trunk lid is open.
R
There is heavy rain, snow or fog.
R
The ambient light conditions are poor, e.g. at
night.
R
Cameras, or vehicle components in which
the cameras are installed, are damaged, dirty
or covered. Observe the information on vehi‐
cle sensors and cameras (

page 153).

Do not use the rear view camera in these
types of situation. You could otherwise injure
others or collide with objects when parking
the vehicle.
