Assist warns you or makes a lane-cor‐
recting brake application.

vention of Active Lane Keeping Assist
Active Lane Keeping Assist does not detect
traffic conditions or road users. In very rare
cases, the system may make an inappropri‐
ate brake application, e.g. after intentionally
driving over a solid lane marking.
The brake application can be interrupted at
any time if you steer slightly in the opposite
direction.

cient distance to the side for other traf‐
fic or obstacles.

detected, the lines in the assistance graphic
are shown in white.
Sensitivity of Active Lane Keeping Assist
With the standard or adaptive setting, you can
influence when the warning vibration of Lane
Keeping Assist takes place.
