Adjusting the rear seat head restraints

To raise: pull the head restraint up.

To lower: press release knob

tion of the arrow and push the head restraint
down.
Folding the front seat backrest forwards/
back
With the EASY-ENTRY function, the seat moves
forwards if you have folded the seat backrest
forwards. This makes it easier for passengers to
get into and out of the rear of the vehicle.
Vehicles without the memory function

If necessary, release the head restraint and
push it down.

To fold forwards: pull seat release handle
1
and fold the seat backrest forwards until
the seat backrest engages.

Push the seat as far forwards as it will go.
#
To fold back: push the seat back horizontally
by the seat backrest until it reaches the seat
position that was previously set.

Fold the seat backrest back until you hear it
engage. Do so in a smooth manner.
If the seat backrest is not engaged, this will
be shown on the multifunction display on the
instrument cluster. A warning tone also
sounds.
#
After the seat backrest has been folded
back, check the position of the head restraint
and set it to the correct position.
