Controls in detail

Gearshift

Stop the vehicle.

Apply the parking brake (

page 62).

Select neutral

Switch off the engine.

Parking the vehicle

Risk of accident

If you do not use the parking brake to hold

the vehicle, there is a risk of it rolling away.

The Telligent

automatic gearshift always

selects neutral when the engine has been

switched off. You cannot park the vehicle

with a gear engaged. Always hold the vehicle

using the parking brake.
