Starting up
8.1
Checking the ventilation unit before
switching on for the first time
► Check the ventilation unit for damage.
► Check that the air grilles for extract air
and supply air (item 1 and 5 in Fig. 8 on
8.2
Switching on the ventilation unit
► Remove the cover from the ventilation
unit (see section 12.3.1 on page 37).
► Switch the ventilation unit on at the
mains switch (item 1 in Fig. 17).
After roughly 1 second, the electromechan-
ically-operated vent flaps on the supply air
and exhaust air sides open.
► Reattach the cover to the ventilation unit
(see section 12.3.6 on page 39).
