9.1.3.2 Email Information
The LANTIME is able to inform about certain system events via e-mail. In the menu "Email Information" you
can make the necessary settings. In the submenu "Notifications" you can select the system events, for which the
LANTIME has to send out a notification e-mail.
Recipient:
E-mail of the desired recipient.
Sender:
Address of the sender.
Smarthost:
To send the e-mails you require a smarthost (relay-server).
Please enter the server address here.
Port:
Network port configuration. Default setting is 25, because the
SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) uses TCP Port 25 as standard.
Activate Authentication:
Many mail servers require a valid authentication.

Please check mark the box to activate it.
Username/ Password:
Please enter a valid access for the e-mail server.
